The Australian Government provides a range of funding options to help older Australians get the care they need. This could range from basic home support, ongoing home care, or residential aged care services.
We have a large range of in home aged care services designed to help you be independent, do the things you love, and stay at home. You can also pay for the services you want privately.
For partly funded government services you will need to contribute to your care if you can afford to do so. Learn more about our fees and charges.
The Australian Government allocates Support at Home funding based on how urgently you need care. If you’re waiting for funding longer than the average waiting time, you may be able to access some of your funding earlier. See more information about priority ratings.
Alternatively, you may be able to receive Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services while waiting for Support at Home funding. You can also pay privately for your aged care services without the wait.

No. At Silverchain our priority is your care. That’s why we do not charge any exit, entry or setup fees.
