Streamlining home care services through digital enablement

We are embracing new and emerging technologies to enhance the delivery of care in the home. By using innovative tools and systems, we can provide an even greater care experience for our clients and care teams, improving safety and the delivery of care in the home. Key projects include:

• Integrating the use of Smart Glasses technology for remote support in home health and aged care services.
• Partnering with hospitals to provide care in our clients homes through digitally enabled home care.
• Data informed and digitally enhanced national model for palliative care to strengthen in home care services.

Strengthening home care services through sensors and wearables

We’re transforming home care using sensors and wearables to enable our care teams to monitor our clients wellbeing and detect early changes in their behaviour and health status in real time. This enables us to provide personalised care and support, so our clients can live safely and independently at home. Key projects include:

• Piloting smart home sensors and wearables for daily monitoring.
• Falls detection.
• Wandering management.
